As tourists, we might feel comfortable making jokes, but Flat Hal and Flat Stanley were aware that this “House of Culture” once housed criminals as a prison, and the very small stalls selling handicrafts were once home to 8 to 10 people regretting the choices that brought them to that cell, behind a VERY thick wall.
