Kids the world over learn our home country’s folk songs. In America the Flat Friends learned Yankee Doodle Dandy!
Often, not only are the lyrics (words) in these songs entertaining and fun to sing, they also contain hidden bits of history! In these Australian songs are lyrics about the early immigrants, and how they came to Australia, as well as what was life during the first 100 (or more) years after they arrived.
