…we try to stay focused, and share the adventure the best we can. Here’s a special milestone moment from our San Antonio port call.

Flat Hal and Flat Halena are pausing for a moment as we sail towards San Antonio
For over a month the Flat Friends, along with just over 1,000 other passengers have called our cruise ship home. Together we have visited six countries, and spent a memorable four days sailing the waters of Antarctica. Only one port stop was cancelled. The seas have been mostly calm, with fair winds, and incredible views.
Tomorrow, when we dock in San Antonio, our first official “segment” of our journey will end. Some of our new friends will go home — and others will board, moving into their cabins, eager to join the adventure.
Much like with our Pole to Pole adventure last year, only about 700 people are scheduled to be onboard for every day of the voyage. Some will sail for just 14 days near the end, others will sail for more than 70 days in the middle. At times our ship will be at capacity, with no cabins available, and other times we may meet passengers who decided just a few days before departure to join us. (On this segment we met a couple that planned the trip just two weeks before we departed!)
