The flat fellas took a short walk around town, enjoying the colorful buildings and mix of old with a dash of new. But our excitement was for watching the scenery as we sailed away in the afternoon.
A narrow channel between dramatic cliffs leads into St John’s, Newfoundland, and as we sailed out we caught a glimpse of Signal Hill where Guglielmo Marconi made communications history by receiving the first ever transatlantic wireless signal!
