Today the Flat Friends sailed from the Northern Hemisphere into the Southern, by gliding across an invisible line known as the equator!

Be it known that on this day, the vessel carrying Flat Hal and Flat Halena has braved the rolling swells of the Atlantic Ocean. Having departed from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, they have successfully navigated to the very center of the world.

By command of King Neptune, Ruler of the Seven Seas, let it be recorded that these brave travelers have crossed the EQUATOR!
They have sailed out of the Northern Hemisphere and plunged into the Southern Hemisphere, leaving behind the lands of Pirates and Privateers to discover the mysteries that lie below the line.
Therefore, I hereby proclaim them:

They are now members of the Ancient Order of the Deep and are granted safe passage past the mouth of the Amazon and beyond!
