When a teacher in Canada asked if I would take Flat Stanley on my next adventure I was unsure what answer to give.
Kids are sponges—soaking up knowledge and new discoveries in a way I both envy and enjoy being around. As a result I love fueling their curiosity, providing what I can for them to soak up.
But could I do justice to the request.
Add to that the fact I work remotely while traveling, and have some other responsibilities to consider, I waded in as carefully as I could.
I decided to bring Flat Hal into the picture so Flat Stanley returning home would not be an end, but a transition point, and I am glad I embraced this project as I have.
The journal is still evolving. With each day, and each entry, the flat fellas have helped me to learn about the places we visited, and inspired me to be more aware of my surroundings.
