The itinerary said Leixões (Porto). The first thing Flat Hal and Flat Stanley set out to understand is why two places were listed — and how far apart they are. It got a little more interesting when it was announced we were being offered a shuttle to Matosinhos. A third city?
Learning Leixões is the name of the port located within Matosinhos helped understand the shuttle offer. Next up… how far to Porto? Long answer — are you going by car? Bus? (Public Bus? Or hop on hop off sightseeing bus?) Or Train? Why does how you travel change how far away a city is? It doesn’t! It just influences how long it might take to get there.
We decided to go by car. A little faster, but more importantly for us, it would drop us right where we wanted to go.
