The flat fellas found Casablanca to be a vibrant city. There was so much to see!

From the beautiful old buildings and impressive structures (Christian Churches included) to the bustling activity in busy squares. One of the squares had men dressed in colorful outfits posing for photos with tourists. Once upon a time these men served an important role, providing water to travelers. Now, their service is more symbolic.

The lighthouse we saw near the part of town that was once Anfa, marks where the region had connections to the berbers in the time of the Roman Empire!

At sunset, as we sailed away from Casablanca, we could see the lighthouse in Anfa, as well as Hassan II Mosque, lit up by the sun’s light.
