A walk around Robinson Crusoe Island

Shortly after getting off the tender on Isla Robinson Crusoe I saw this large carved statue.  It is in memory of Alexander Selkirk who was marooned on this island for four years.

As Flat Hal and Flat Stanley explored the island they were struck by the variety of plants and flowers.

Our efforts to get to see one of the endemic hummingbirds had mixed results… we definitely saw hummingbirds speeding around.  We were unable to identify them, or get a clear photograph, however.
